Important Information

· Please arrive as soon as you can and follow the marshals' car parking directions. If walking, stick to the marked routes.

· Bag searches will be in operation, so please travel light if possible.

· For safety reasons no person will be allowed to take alcohol into the event.

· Own fireworks and sparklers will not be allowed in the event.

· Please do not buy from pedlars outside the ground. Reputable tradespeople will be selling refreshments, glowsticks, etc once you have passed the ticket entrance.

· No skateboards or scooters allowed on site.

· Drones are not allowed to operate at the event.

· Please follow the marshals' instructions - they are there to help you and keep everyone safe to enjoy this busy event.

Arrival and Parking

Walking – A footpath from Ripon to the racecourse will be clearly marked.

Driving - parking is available at the racecourse on grass. Please allow time for parking as it can get busy. There will be a clearly marked drop off zone and disabled parking.

Entry is via the racecourse turnstiles NOT the main gate.

How can you help us?

• Firstly, by arriving early and therefore avoiding the rush at the turnstiles.

• We need additional sponsors. If you are interested email tim@tpjones.co.uk and he will forward you a sponsorship package and answer any questions.

• We also need members. There are a number of ways you can get involved. Please don’t think of Ripon Rowels Rotary as a posh boys dining club we are anything but that. We even have a club president who is prepared to parade through the streets of Ripon dressed as a toilet in aid of a good cause. As well as the official stewards, safety officers etc you will also see Rotary club members wearing tabards. Stop and chat to us. There are two clubs in Ripon both meet on a Tuesday one at lunch time and one at 7pm.
